HALO: SPARTAN ASSAULT COMING TO CONSOLE

Until now, Spartans around the globe have been restricted to playing Halo: Spartan Assault on the Windows 8 platform and Windows phone. But now 343 Industries have announced that this will no longer be the case, as Halo: Spartan Assault will release on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One console this December. The console version will feature an all new online co-op mode, aswell as all the previous single player features.

For me personally, I'm yet to get hands on with this game, being an iPhone user who doesn't currently use Windows 8, i was disappointed to miss out on Halo: Spartan Assault. So this is fantastic news for me, and of course many others worldwide.

Halo: Spartan Assault will be available on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One this December.

WARTHOG, ANYONE?

Have you ever dreamt of getting behind the wheel of your very own Halo Warthog? Well this could be your chance to do just that! Peter Cooper has decided to part ways with his Warthog, now seeking a new loving home, and is open to all reasonable offers. Based on a 1983 Land Rover Defender 110, this Warthog is fully functional but could use a little TLC. Originally built for the Machinima fan made series - Halo Operation Chastity, then later used by Microsoft to feature in Halo 4: Experience, A promotional event in Liechtenstein, run by Microsoft running up to the launch of Halo 4.

MCFARLANE TOYS - MASTER CHIEF STATUE

Here are the first pictures of the Mcfarlane Toys Halo 4: Master Chief statue. This hand painted, highly detailed, statue stands around 12 inches tall including it's base and comes with three changeable weapons - the Assault Rifle (AR), Boltshot and Energy Sword. This statue is strictly limited to 1,000 available worldwide. Each piece comes numbered and includes Certificate of Authenticity hand-signed by Todd McFarlane himself.

The Master Chief statue is due for release on Friday, 6th December 2013, and will retail for $295 (around £184) on McFarlane Toys Online Store.

FORD - A MISSION WITH MASTER CHIEF.

Ford recently released a two short Halo video series advertising their new range of vehicles. Featuring Steve 'Master chief' Downes, the story follows Mike Tepeli, an extreme Halo fan who struggles to see the line between fantasy and reality. When Mike gets the opportunity to interview the Master Chief he jumps at the chance, literally! Well worth the watch! Enjoy!

HALO MEGA BLOKS - WAKE UP CHIEF...

It's time for our next Halo Mega Bloks review, and this month we have our hands on the new UNSC Cryo Bay...

For many fans this will be instantly recognizable as the opening scenes from the Halo 4 campaign, Mission 1 - Dawn. Where Cortana wakes The Master Chief with 6 simple words 'Wake Up Chief, I Need You!'

Straight from the box you can see this is going to be an easier build compared to other sets in the Halo Mega Bloks series, coming in at a 72 piece set. Both Chief and Cortana arrive ready built, as does the Cryo Bay's bottom base, making your construction time significantly shorter, but without removing any of the excitement in the process. With nice, simple and easy to follow instructions the UNSC Cryo Bay soon took shape, bringing the Halo 4 story to life in Mega Bloks form.

The attention to detail is clearly delivered on all aspects of this build. From Cortana's stance overlooking the resting Chief, to the printed UNSC emblem on the monitor screens. Along side the Cryo pod comes a weapons rack packing an Assault rifle, Sticky detonator and the trusty Battle rifle ready for the Master Chiefs battle against his foes. Once completed the set stands at just over 8cm tall, and would make a great addition to anyone's growing Halo Mega Bloks collection.

The Halo 4 Game of the Year Edition is now available to pre-order and is set to release on 8th October.
