LOCK AND LOAD - HALO 4 CAMPAIGN MISSION 1 - DAWN

Here's our very first video in our new series LOCK AND LOAD which we are working on with the team over at XBLGAMERHUB. We are going to go through the first mission on Halo 4.

The level starts with John being awakened by Cortana due to some unknown activity aboard the Forward Unto Dawn. John is sent to investigate. As he looks around he discovers Covenant searching the ship and after dispatching them he finds out that there is an entire Covenant fleet assaulting and that the Dawn is being pulled inside a forerunner planet Requiem. Cortana directs Chief to activate the Hyperion missiles to get rid of the Covenant Cruiser, John does so but has to fire them manually when they become jammed. The Cruiser gets destroyed and John runs for the escape pods with Cortana giving direction, as the Dawn is still being pulled inside Requiem. But John doesn't make it and is sucked into Requiem along with the rest of the UNSC Foward Unto Dawn.

	Callin' in the Big Guns	In Majestic DLC matchmaking, call in 3 ordnance drops during the same game.	40 points
	I Thrust at Thee	In Majestic DLC matchmaking, perform a melee kill right after using Thrust Pack.	20 points
	Didn't See It Comin'	In Majestic DLC matchmaking, assassinate an enemy who's in zoom mode.	10 points
	Bird of Prey	In Majestic DLC matchmaking, perform 5 'airsassinations'.	50 points
	Bullet Sponge	In Majestic DLC matchmaking, get the 'Close Call' medal twice during one match.	30 points
	I See You!	In Majestic DLC matchmaking, kill 5 enemies while Promethean Vision is active.	10 points
	Clever Girl	In Majestic DLC matchmaking, kill 5 enemies while Active Camo is active.	10 points

HALO 4 MAJESTIC MAP PACK LIVE STREAM

bs angel announced in this week’s Halo Bulletin that 343 Industries will be showing off the Halo 4 Majestic Map Pack in a live stream event tonight, (Sunday February 24th at 2PM PST - 10:00PM UK) 

The stream will feature designers and other 343 team members playing FFA (both Infinity Rumble and Rumble Pro) and 4 vs. 4 matches. There will also be a chance to win Majestic Map Pack codes during the stream – that's right, you could get your hands on the new DLC before it’s officially released!

MAJESTIC MAP PACK SCREEN GALLERIES

Majestic Map Pack screenshots were released over on HaloWaypoint earlier today.

We get to take a little peek into what we are to expect next week (25/2/13) when the DLC goes live.

LANDFALL

Perfect for Infinity Slayer, this small-to-midsize asymmetrical map offers interiors with sparse cover, which encourages close-range combat, while the exteriors offer long lines of sight to stalk your opponents.

MONOLITH

Monolith harkens back to more classic Halo arena-based maps, and its symmetry lends nicely to objective-based modes like Capture the Flag. Monolith is an open battlefield; wherever you look, you will witness the ferocious action that only a small and open map can provide.

SKYLINE

Skyline, perched high above the sights of reconstruction in Cascade’s capital city, is small and symmetrical: Perfect for Regicide, with a mixture of high and low spaces and plenty of cover.

MAKING HALO 4: MAJESTIC MAP PACK

343 Industries are due to release there second installment of DLC maps in the Halo 4 War Games Map Pass, 

Majestic Map Pack brings what us fans have been asking for, 3 all new small to medium sized maps and a new mode-  Infinity Rumble to the Halo 4 War Games experience.

Majestic Map Pack will be available on 25th February.
