At this years Gamescom, 343 Industries have announced the Halo Channel. Set to debut this November exclusively on the Xbox One console, the channel has been described as the 'Home For Halo' by it's creators. 'It will be your destination for all things in the Halo Universe.' 343i stated. 

Below, find a short video giving you a small glimpse into some of the incredible content and features that will be on offer upon release this November. 



We were also treated to a small glimpse of the future of Halo, with Xbox releasing the following video, 'Halo 5: Guardians Beta First Look'.



Here we learn that Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta is set to release on December 29th and continue through to January 18th, standing for a total of 3 weeks. You can customize your Spartan, as they set to battle focusing on 4 vs 4 game types, with smaller maps and identical loadouts. This will give you, the player, the chance to get hands on with the future of Halo for the very first time, and give feedback directly to the creators themselves. You'll be granted access to the Halo 5: Guardians beta by purchasing Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

But, That's not all! 343 also announced another one of the six re-imagined, re-mastered maps that they have been creating for Halo 2: Anniversary, part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection - 'Sanctuary.' This map will be playable at Gamescom all week. So if you are attending this years event, be sure to stop by and be one of the first to explore the game!



This classic Halo 2 map has been made to perfection, with plenty of TLC 343 Industries have done a fantastic job of keeping the maps classic feel whilst packing a host of new awesome features, Sanctuary is visually flawless.
