After announcing the great news of our new partnership with Mega Bloks we have been giving the latest Halo Mega Bloks building sets a test drive,  So today we pleased to bring you  an indepth look at the new Halo Mega Bloks UNSC Mantis.

From just a glimpse of the beautifully designed box this kicks my Spartan nerd into overdrive, being one of my ultimate favorite vehicles from the Halo Universe it certainly ticks all the right boxes, and i wasted no time in unpackaging and spilling the 443+ mega bloks pieces onto my living room floor.

What may appear as an unorganized pile of bricks to some is viewed as an exciting challenge to me, my mission was to create a perfectly formed UNSC Mantis, worthy for the battlefield. With a simple and easy to follow colorful step by step instruction guide building the Mantis wasn't difficult, but instead became alot of fun, Seeing your very own Mantis take form with impressive attention to detail was very exciting and pleasantly surprising, The 5 year evolution of Halo Mega Bloks series has always earned my applause, and just when you think they've reached top marks for detail, they go above and beyond taking you away from the console and delivering Halo in an entirely different light, Which is a real blessing for collectors and fans alike.

Once completed the Mantis stands around 23cm tall and comes with it's very own docking station which you can adjust the Mantis to sit nicely upon, The Mantis proudly sports the United Nations Space Command (UNSC) emblem on it's rooftop hatch, and the detailing of the mech are simply applied by stickers of which the instructions indicate where they belong. You also get a new Halo 4 Warrior spartan which fits perfectly into the Mantis driving seat making the perfect pilot. The spartan packs his very own SAW machine gun, ready to tear into the opposition. Over all the UNSC Mantis playset easily takes top spot in my all time favorite Mega Bloks sets to date, It was heaps of fun to build and packs an impressive punch once completed, This set along with others from the 2013 series which we shall be featuring each week here on You Know You're A Spartan are available at Halo.Megabloks.com.
