343 Industries have just announced the Halo 4 Champions bundle at there RTX panel - this is the fourth DLC expansion in the Halo 4 mulitplayer experience, Set for release on August 20th for 800 Microsoft Points. 343i collaborates with Certain Affinity to bring The Champions Bundle, this will include the Bullseye Map Pack, which includes Pitfall, a remake of one of my all time favorite Halo maps -The Pit from Halo 3, and a brand spankin new map named Vertigo. This will also include the Infinity Armor Pack, which includes the ODST, Mark V and Prefect armor. And last but not least the DLC will include Ricochet an all new gametype designed specifically for Pitfall which is described by 343i themselves as being “ just like combat basketball.” Ricochet spawns an oddball type ball on the map and your team work hard together to either throw or run the ball into the the goal. Running the ball in will gain you more points for your hard work whilst throwing the ball into goal still scores with less points. The ball can be intercepted mid-air which is set to make for interesting gameplay.

Each of the three DLC packs in the Champions bundle will also be available as individual purchases from launch day. The Bullseye Pack will be available for 480 MS Points, and the Infinity Armor Pack and Steel Skin Pack will be available for 240 MS Points each.

The bonus content is only available for a limited time exclusively through the bundle, so be sure to grab these on release this august whilst you can!
